That said, if any of you have what you think is the ULTIMATE must-try chocolate chip cookie recipe, please share (either by including the recipe or a link to your cookie post in the comments section). Your fave recipe may already be on my list, but I'd love to see how yours turned out (just so I can have a comparison when I make mine). If your recipe isn't on my list, I may not have a chance to make it, but I'll definitely keep it on hand to make in the future (once the present cookie coma has worn off).
Okay, now that I'm done plugging that, here's your Top 5 from last week's Sweets for a Saturday:
1. Buttermilk Pancakes w/ Maple Syrup - Catalina Bakes

2. Chocolate Crunch Brownies - A Well-Seasoned Life

3. Reese's Cheesecake - My Sweet Creations
4. Easy Caramel Sauce - Happy Home Blog

5. Homemade Pop-Tarts - My Sweet Creations

The Rules:
- Please link up to the URL of your post, not the URL of your main blog. When it asks for "Name", type in the name of your treat.
- Please leave a link back to this post in your post or Grab My Button.
- Share your delicious sweets from this week. If you've made more than one during the week, feel free to link them all up.
- Leave me a comment telling me that you've linked up.
- Please visit at least two others and comment on their wonderful additions to this party.
Hi Lisa
ReplyDeleteI posted my link for a quick and easy, melt and mix chocolate chunk cookie. No need to beat butter and sugar. Just whack it all together. AND no use pussy footing around with choc chips. I go the whole hog and use chocolate chunks. The only way to go!
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteExcited for the cookie comparisons! Linked up! :)
ReplyDeleteI went on the chocolate chip cookie quest about a year and a half ago, went through a lot of recipes and found one that I liked more than the others, but not THE cookie. A few months ago I decided to give the NYT chocolate chip cookie recipe a go-I have to say I was very very impressed! I think it is my favorite right now! The big catch for me though was that I wanted something that didn't require anything special that I don't always have on hand-like turbinado sugar that was in some of the recipes I tried. The NYT recipe calls for cake flour and bread flour which I don't always have, but I have found that it is *almost* as amazing with all purpose flour, using 2 3/4+2/3 c all purpose flour instead of the cake and bread flour combo. I became a fan of the sea salt on cookies about a year ago, so the fact that this recipe included that as well was definitely appealing to me. If you haven't tried that recipe yet, give it a shot!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that Caramel Sauce!!! I can't wait for the cooking comparison, make sure you check out my awesome possum Chocolate Chip Cookies :)
